Here's the Jean-Pierre Danel CD "Out of the Blues" on which I guested, the proceeds of which go to benefit Aids research. Some pretty illustrious company on the record like Albert Lee, Scott Henderson, ( my hero and his ) Hank B.Marvin, Téléphone's Louis Bertignac, Beverly Jo Scott and others. Jean-Pierre has a great talent on the guitar as well as a great talent as a producer and networker supreme. On this CD he uses this particular ability to bring together all these wonderful talents for a really great cause. He has sold hundreds of thousands of CDs in France and in the USA and produced many artists. We're looking into the possibility of having the CD available through this site for those interested in supporting the cause of Aids research.

I love the accompanying photo of him showing the CD to Carla Bruni, the wife of of the president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy. I guess you could say we are both in good hands eh, Jean-Pierre? The other shot is of myself signing a special candy apple red Stratocaster donated by Fender also to benefit Aids research. Jean-Pierre and I are pictured backstage recently at Le Plan where Wishbone played recently. If you are wondering where the scratch plate for the guitar is, then I'll tell you, it's on it's way to Perth, Australia, where Hank lives. He'll sign it and send it back to Paris where the plate will be reunited with the guitar and his signature will have pride of place alongside all the signatures of the others of us who participated.
