Mudvigstein gets to grips with a 'beast' of a 12 string in the studio as we enlist yet more Neve preamps and wrestle with arrangements and drum sounds. The play back system in the control room truly rocks and the Genesys console makes the going good. Engineer Stephan is loving it. It's early days in our new studio environment, where we are making music while learning to co exist out in the wind swept wilds of the Lancashire countryside. The weather really has been bleak and extremely windy. It's good conditions for getting hunkered down in our cosy creative cocoon. Not only is Muddy a cool guitar slinger but he slings a mean stir fry in the kitchen! Bob downloaded a Jamie Oliver IPhone app. and offers suggestions like "don't use olive oil". Apparently vegetable oil is best? The stuff you learn.....
