It’s official. Wishbone Ash is returning to Japan this summer!

Due to popular demand, Wishbone Ash will play a return date at Club Citta, Kawasaki, featuring a 2 hour show of current and back catalog songs. The band arrives in Tokyo on August 26th 2011 for this show which takes place on August 27th.

In addition, the very next day, August 28th, we will be performing on the Tokyo Progressive Rock Festival held right in downtown Tokyo, near the Emperor’s Palace. More details to follow - like web address etc. Wishbone Ash will be joining a progressive rock fan’s dream line-up featuring Italy’s esteemed Premiata Forneria Marconi ( PFM ) and the headliners, Kansas. It promises to be an intensely musical program since, along with ourselves, these bands are known to really stretch out musically, in a live context.
