| Psychic Terrorism - 1998 | |
The biggest complaint about "Trance Visionary" was the lack of the recognizable
guitar lines that made the band famous. While the album does contain sampled
guitar, processed and looped, it just doesn't cut it with fans who are
used to the in-your-face guitar that Wishbone is known for. Even so, fans
who attended the Camden Palace show (see the new issue of MOJO) know that
"Trance Visionary" live is completely different from the CD.
With this in mind, Mike Bennett and Andy Powell went back into the studio.
They added that missing live guitar, used additional musicians, gave it
a live feel, and have come up with a new version of the CD called "Psychic
Terrorism". For dance aficionados , it's definitely a more "club" mix,
but heavy on the guitars". |
