| Locked In - 1976 | |
Probably my least favorite Ash album. Sounds like a band in trouble and in search of a direction. This is the first of two albums to appear on the Atlantic label in the United States. MCA Records decided that with the dismal sales of the last album, There's The Rub, that it was time to let the band go. Even new producer Tom Dowd, Allman Brothers & Lynyrd Skynyrd fame, couldn't get the band to pull it together for this one. I will say however, that the track "Rest In Peace" is still one of my all time favorites. I just thank God the band didn't disband after this album. |
